Goals

Hi, everyone.  So here I am, on a different space.  I chose a theme that is cheerful, and bright in hopes to bring forth a positive attitude.  This Space will be specifically for following my attempt at weight loss and getting both my diabetes and cholesterol under control.
 
First things first:
 
Thanks for everyone that is standing behind me on this, both family and friends near and far.  I truly appreciate it more than you can imagine.  It makes the situation feel a little less overwhelming and scarey.
 
That being said, I should probably lay down some goals for myself.  At first, I am not going to lay down any really hard ones.  Just those that will get me started.  So, here they are:
 
  • See a dietician to learn how to properly feed my body
  • Get my cholesterol and diabetes under control before August 1st 2006 (my next blood test)
  • Get into a routine of meals and exercise
  • Become comfortbale with said routine

That's it in a nut shell, really.  Each day I will list off my day's activities and what I ate.  And I plan on being honest.  Even if I do slip.  Otherwise I won't be doing myself any good.  Once I get the pedometer from my brother, I can start logging how many steps I take in a day.  The doctor suggests 10,000 minimum.  So we shall see how that goes.
